Hyponosis?????

Over the last 9 months, since tearing a stomach muscle, I have gained 40 lbs despite eating and exercising right. I have been to a dietician who said my diet looks good and to the doctor twice (awaiting lab results for second time). Nothing has come up medically so far yet I am still gaining. The doctor even said today "that is a significate weight gain". I have been to basic military training and gained weight while there also. No, it isn't muscle weight because once I was finished with all my training I had to buy new pants because I gained so much around my waist.
So I am considering hypnosis if everything comes back good on my lab results again. I was wondering if anyone has tried this? How sucessful do you think it is? Or is it a waste of time? I feel like I have tried everything and I am open to about anything now.

My hypnosis CDs helped to calm me down-- I lost some weight, but what it really did was focus me on de-stressing, which is my trigger. I would pick up a CD before signing up for a program though.
And realistically, it's probably something in your lab results Sorry! My thyroid hates me, so if it's that, I feel your pain.0 -
Wow!! I'd await test results, too.0

I honestly don't know if hypnosis actually works, but for kicks I have bought a couple subliminal CDs :P my first one was titled "pass your driving test" because I HATED driving while I was learning and was always stressed out. what was cool was that the CD I got had a "silent" track that you could play but wouldn't hear it, maybe just white noise but none of the soothing sounds the other tracks had (rainfall, waves, ocean, etc) I played it during my behind the wheel test and only got marked off for two things
I bought a "stop procrastinating" CD but that hasn't really been tested because well... I procrastinate
My recent purchase was for a weightloss CD but I haven't had time to play it because of my finals and stuff
so if all else really does fail, you could google Real Subliminal and give it a try, good luck! :flowerforyou:0
