Where do you call Home?

I'm from Kansas. I noticed that there are a lot of people from all over so I'm curious! What are the biggest challenges in getting your exercise because of where you live?

In Kansas there are a couple of issues. First because its such a primarily rural place finding a gym can be difficult. Add to that the fact that the heat and humidity can get so extreme it can be dangerous to exercise outside too.

I'm in Missouri and don't have a membership to a gym so I find other ways in which to exercise. Walking around town, exercise inside with DVDs, Kinect games, and dancing. The only thing I find difficult about exercise in the area that I am in is that my town doesn't have sidewalks everywhere so when I'm pushing a stroller it makes it a bit more difficult. But it's more of a challenge and more calories burned that way.

I live in central Georgia, fortunately my family is military so there is a base gym always open. And seems like there's about 20 different fitness places in this town. I personally like running outside but because this is the south and near the coast it's awful doing anything outside in the heat and humidity.

I am in Texas. Biggest issue here is just the heat! I do have a gym membership just so I can exercise indoors!

Chicago is my home and there are NO issues here! There are plenty of indoor gyms when the weather is crappy, sidewalks, beaches, parks, walking trails, etc. The weather here lately has been perfect for walking outdoors. I have been hitting up local beaches and walking trails and walking and biking my butt off lately!
