starving!! Help

Okay I'm not really starving but I am so used to grabbing that bag of chips and sitting here eating it while watching TV...

What do you "munch" on while watching TV or when you think you are hungry and just cant ignore it?

    I've learned not to eat in front of the TV or computer. It was a hard habit to break, but so worth it. If I eat in front of the TV I zone out and end up eating way more than I need. If I'm watching TV and just can't stop thinking about food, I'll get up, get some (healthy!) food, sit down at the dining room table, and eat it. Then I go back to the TV. It really has helped me...try it!

    Drink water, take a walk or have lots of veggies cut up to eat.

    sunflower seeds, or any nut with the shell still on. It's more work and you will eat less.

    I've always been a mindless eater, and I also have the tendency to eat when I get home on the days I work second shift. This has saved me from a lot of extra calories! sometimes just water or tea isn't enough to satisfy that urge.
