Hi al!
I have been a member at MFP for like 3 years to maintain my weight and have always loved it.
in the last 6 months, I started dating someone new....someone who loves to take me out to fancy dinners at shwanky restaurants...while I love the fun, my waistline has definitely taken a hit...
I am 1 month from a beach vacation and I NEED to lose like 7 lbs to get back to my "comfort zone" I know most of it is water weight, so if I can just be good, I know I will get there...the problem is overcoming the restaurants and alcoholic beverages to keep with my diet.
Exercise is not a problem for me. Its all diet.
Anyway, I figure if I am here in the forums maybe I will stay accountable....
thanks for reading!

You will. You can. And switch up your food selection at your shwanky restaurants might help some too, as well as increasing your caloric output.
Drink your water, go for the lighter dishes. If you eat 2500 cals one day, maybe cut back the next. Going for a weekly average might work a little better for you.
You can so do this!!0
