I'm 24. I got breast reduction surgery last year. Really glad I did that!

And the painkillers they give you afterwards are fun times? Trying to switch from painkillers to tylenol is not as fun. XP

I had my Gall Bladder removed in 2010 the week of the Chicago Marathon, which I was registered for. They had to actually cut me open with the laproscopic attempt didn't work. I was in the hospital for 8 days and had another 2 precedures to stop the internal "leakage". Needless to say I didn't run the Marathon and after my 2 weeks recovery time I went on to gain 60lbs. So now I am here!

Ear tubes at 3, removal after they'd grown on to my ear drums at age 4 (and I still have the scars)
    Tonsillectomy at 17
Carpal Tunnel surgery, two trigger pulley finger surgeries, and Cubital tunnel surgery at the age of 19 (it was all one surgery)
    Trigger thumb surgery at 21
Rotten wisdom tooth extraction at 22

I'm probably going to end up having surgery on my thumb again as it's never healed and it's in my writing hand. I'm trying also to have LASIK but because my credit score isn't so great due to numerous doctor's bills and their lovely ability to only remind me that I have them after they've turned me over to a collection agency I don't qualify for their billing support right now.

Wisdom teeth when I was about 20..

& an "eye-ectomy'? --- just before my 3rd birthday due to retinal cancer, but I'm still hot & sexy with my plastic eye

Never thought I would be typing this but if you've got a prosthetic eye too please fling over an FR :flowerforyou:
  • where to begin? I'll start at the feet:

    bunnionectomy right and left feet
    reconstructive ankle surgery right
knee arthoscopic - torn meniscus left
    left knee replacement
    right knee replacement
    appendectomy
    two c-sections
    ganglion cyst removal left hand
carpal tunnel surgery right and left hand
    right thumb joint replacement
    left thumb join replacement
    tonsilectomy
    wisdom teeth

that doesn't cover the miscellaneous stitches, concussions etc... as the saying goes - if i had known I was going to live this long, i would have taken better care of myself.

I had a disc removed out of my lower back when I was 20. And I'm happy to say that, as long as I do my stretching, it never bothers me.
