BK bacon sundae - gross or gorgeous

BK has launched a new sundae for the summer season. A bacon sundae with vanilla soft-serve, chocolate and caramel sauces and crumbled bacon. All this for 510 cals, 18 grs of fat and 64 grams of sugar. I vote gross - how about you?

    It sounds a bit odd but I'm sure it will taste quite nice. It's no stranger than pancakes with maple syrup and bacon after all...

    A little bit of saltiness with sweetness can taste delicious (pleeeeease take your minds out of the gutter - I am talking about salted caramel ice cream here!)

    A bacon sundae sounds awesome. But, if I were to indulge in one, I wouldn't let BK make it for me. I'd make an ULTIMATE one using:

    -Haagen Dazs Vanilla Bean and Ducle de Leche ice creams
    -Homemade hot fudge using Godiva chocolate
    -Maple bacon

    mmmmmmmm......bacon sundae......

    It sounds gross, but I bet it tastes pretty good... that whole sweet/salty combo. There's a candy store in CA that makes chocolate covered bacon.... Same thing.

    I know it sounds gross but i've tried one and it is honestly delicious. Definitely not healthy but its a very delicious combination.@msf74, you are thinking on the right path with pancakes/syrup/bacon. just add the cool milk to the meal and that's the bacon sundae.

    A) It wasn't 510 calories and
    B) If I wasn't taking a break from sweets.

    The very thought of it makes my stomach hurt. I get the sweet and salty though - I like reese's pieces with my popcorn at the movies!
