YAY! Just got my Polar!

I got the F11 (started with a different model/brand that I hated, and my hubby said "Get the best, you're worth it! Get what you want! and I did :bigsmile: lol I don't usually do that...)

With school starting this week, a hubby, two teenagers in highschool, a toddler and a dog, I know it's going to take a week to get up to speed with the darned thing... but I am sooooo excited to have it!

I set up my user profile, time, date, that's about it. I have it on for the first 24 hours, I wanna see what my typical day "shows" calorie-wise... will probably do that three days and average it.

I figured out how to turn off the alarm. That's about the extent of my polarifficness today. :laugh:

Anyone have any tips? What do you like best about yours?

Mine came in the mail yesterday, but it's a F6. I read through the manual, and need to do that again. I think there are lots of Polar users at MFP.

Shanta and Moveit, you guys might want to consider watching Ebay.... that's where I found mine thanks to recommendations here at MFP, for considerably less than what I would have paid in a store, and mine is brand new.

I have the F6 and LOVE it.... it helps me push to burn more calories too and I don't even realize I have it on.
