Bar Harbor, Maine/ Acadia National Park

Hello!
My boyfriend and I are leaving early friday for our vacation. We live in Ohio, so we are driving to Boston for one night and then up to Bar Harbor, Maine for 5 nights.

Just wondering, if anyone has been there and has any suggestions on Must Do's!!!

We are planning on going whale watching and doing hiking at Acadia.

I have a house just outside of Bar Harbor (Ellsworth, you will drive through it).

Hiking acadia and doing "park loop drive", thats more fun than you can imagine. Just do it on a clear day and the views will blow your mind. Lunch at the Jordan Pond House is cool too. As for Bar Harbor, just walk up the main street, ocean on one side, restaraunts / pubs and shops on the other, and stop wherever you feel like :-) (I like to have a bite and a few beers at Geddys Pub)

The whale watching is cool it gets chilly on the water so bring a jacket and the line is usually long so try to get there a little early but everytime I have gone we have had whales within 10 or 20 yards of the ship. VERY cool.
