I know there's probably tons of topics about this on here, but several new studies came out showing why it is important to get 7-8 hours of good sleep a night. The article link is below.

Is that 7 to 8 hours of unbroken sleep? If so, I am stuffed, because I tend to wake up every two to three hours - this is due to years of shift work lol
The most unbroken sleep I have had in the last ten years has been five, that was on holiday back in March, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw how long I had remained asleep for!0
