Eating more in my first week of MFP...

I joined MFP last Friday. My goal is to lose one pound a week until I lose twenty pounds. I'm eating more calories now than before I started the program. I'm afraid to weigh in and find I've gained weight. Has anyone else experienced this and lost weight???

It seems kind of hard to believe if you are 20 pounds overweight that you are eating more calories when you are creating a calorie deficit by using MFP. What are your stats (height, starting weight, calories MFP gives you, etc.)? More importantly, if you open your diary (make it public in the settings) it is easier for us to help.
Lastly, welcome to MFP!0 -
You may gain at first as your body adjusts but that usually only lasts 2-3 weeks. Stick with it and be patient. We are here for you.0
