question for Mud Runners!!

I'm doing Survivor Mud Run So Cal in September... I wasn't able to register at the same wave time as my buddies. How strict are they with wave start times? I'm wondering if I could sneak into an earlier wave so I can run with my crew.

    For the Merrell Down And Dirty Mud Run, I signed up for a different wave by mistake like a dummy. I emailed them and told them that I was running with a bunch of friends and if it was possible to switch my time to the earlier wave. And they did.

    They had to let their timing company know of the switch so that my timer wouldn't disqualify me when I'd cross the start line at 8am instead of 9am. I don't know if it's the same procedure but email them and let them know beforehand.

    For my Super Spartan race, they specifically state that no wave changes will occur. Once you signed up for a wave, that was the one you were sticking with :laugh: But that one I'm doing all by myself so whatever.
