Hiya,

I have lost 3 stone before joining here and am now jumping back on the wagon.

I have slimmed down my legs below the knee but the knee and above just looks like it should belong to Sherman Klump!
I know you can't 'spot remove fat' etc which is why I am calorie counting but wondered if there were any exercises anyone used to help it along the way?

It's so frustrating as I am one size in my waist and due to my huge thighs I have to go a size bigger to accomodate.

Any advice appreciated!

it's counter intuitive but lift heavy. i have a tendency to be thigh heavy too and i'm finding that the heavier i go with the weights, the slimmer my thighs get. post parallel squats, deadlifts, lunges, step ups. as long as you are eating at a deficit you wont gain anything except water weight, which is temporary

    also you can try running

I also have the thunder thighs and heffer hips! I have only lost a few pounds, but have noticed that my proportions are getting more in line, and as a result shopping for new clothes that fit (smaller sizes - yeah!) is becoming less of a problem for me. Some things that I think are improving my unbalanced pear shape: I do stairs every day - 21 flights. This kind of goes along with the "lift heavy" since I am heavy! lol

I am also eating more protein than I ever have in my life. I am also strength training and riding a stationary bike (pedaling vigorously).

I hope some of this might help you too. Good luck!
