I just packed my lunch for tomorrow, so this is fun. I like snacky quick stuff but I am always on the run and don't have a lunch hour. I work a 12 hour shift and take my own small ice chest. So I try to eat oatmeal with fruit or egg whites before I leave for work.
Then I eat through out the day like this...

    Oiko's Yogurt
turkey breast sandwich on multigrain bread
    raw almonds and string cheese
A preblended protein shake with whey powder, a banana, blueberries and black berries
    Luna bar
shakeology shake premixed with almond milk
    a piece of fruit

    Good luck with your lunch!

Aside from everyone else's suggestions of sandwiches and the like, (and NO salads haha) some good snack/meal substitutions that I've found are:

Larabars (cherry pie, apple pie, pbj, coconut)
Bear Naked Granola (fruit & nut, vanilla crunch)
    Almonds/nuts
    Protein bars
    Fruit - always a good option : )

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but hope it helps nonetheless.

Thanks- I've seen people write about Larabars but I can NEVER find them! Where do you get them?

No microwave? Ok, so fish is out of the question. What? Everybody loves the guy who microwaves fish at the office.

    Just love that person:sad:

Love the ideas on this thread. Cold pasta dishes and roasted veggie salads are some of my favorites!

Peanut butter on a spoon is regular for me too. lol

    Do you drive to work?

I sometimes place things I want hot in a Mason/ Ball jar
and put the Jar inbetween the folds of my cars solar shield,
it acts like a parabolic solar cooker, and the Jars are Dishwasher safe.

My commute to work is about an hour on good days- that's a good idea!

stuffed peppers...red pepper green yellow or orange. stuffed with whatever type of salad you'd like....chicken salad, tuna salad, broccoli salad, etc....no microwave, keep cool with ice pack or frozen water bottle in lunch box.
