Does anyone know of an exercise I can do to decrease my inner thighs? I am tired of them rubbing together. I am athletic and have an athletic/ chunky build, but my inner thighs are horrible. Any help????

Really you need to reduce the bodyfat in that region through diet. Now to strengthen and help develop the muscle you can do Sumo-Stand Deadlifts which is just a very wide stanced deadlift that happens to work the inner-thigh very well.0 -
Side lunges (add weights for more resistance) and if you go swimming, do the breaststroke (the frog), that really works your inner thigh muscles as well as other muscles like your glutes0

I have the same problem. Big thighs. I have big calves also. I do a lot of running and just recently I've started doing Jillian Michael's Killer Buns and Thighs. It's awesome! Give it a try.0

I'm getting pretty sick of seeing this post over and over. The short answer- you CANNOT SPOT REDUCE. You have to lose fat if you want smaller thighs, end of story. Women hold the most fat in the thigh/butt/hip region, and coincidentally is usually the last place for women to *lose* fat. There is a small percentage of women born with "chicken legs" who pack on weight in other places but for the other 98% of us, you either have to live with it or reduce overall body fat. Do that by combining weight training with cardio. Focus on building the muscles underneath so that when you do lose fat, the muscles will show through. You can do squats all day long but your thighs won't get smaller until you lose fat. They'll probably just get bigger from the added muscle.
Not to be harsh, but this is fact. Be realistic and realize there is no easy way out (unless you get lipo). I have big thighs too and wish there was an easier way, but there's not.0
