So I've been 'dieting' for about a month now. And according to the scales, I've lost 5 kg's.
But my weight fluctuates a kilo or two every day so I feel like I haven't actually lost weight.. It's killing my motivation. Is all my weightloss just water weight? D:

I've started measuring my thighs and waist, maybe that will help.

Measuring is a great idea, it give you a good backup to the scale -which can vary day to day for SO many different reasons.
Don't let that stupid scale get you down, it sounds as though you have made some positive changes in your life - that is a victory in itself.

your body isn't going to lay down or burn off pounds of fat in one day.
if you have a glass of water you get heavier, when you pee you get lighter again.
when you have dinner you get heavier, then you poop and you're lighter again.

weigh yourself once a week. in the morning. post toilet, pre breakfast.

    I don't weigh everyday. It's too d*mn depressing. I weigh maybe 1 time a week, sometimes I go 2 weeks between.

Do whatever will keep you motivated. It will be worth it in the end.
