Too my suprised I reached my goal in 2 weeks (10lbs)...now how do I maintain the weight? I saw the "maintain weight" section of MFP but it only required me to eat more by abt 400 more calories than I did in order to loose the weight. I know 400 more calories may not seem like alot but hell I was totally full -400. as you see by miy pix...I run alot so i burned some much doing my dieting. Since I wont sacrifice my running...whats the best way to maintain my current weight 165lbs?

    Try this http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/rmr-calculator.html

PS Are you truly concerned about what the scale says or what the mirror shows? Reason I ask is because I hit my goal weight 2 times already but my true goal is 10% Body Fat which is an aesthetic goal vs a number on a scale.

Well when I got to my goal weight using weight watchers, this is the general maintenance system they used:

Increase caloric intake by, say 200 cal/day for a week. If you still lose, increase by another 200/day for another week. If you stay the same, don't change anything. If you gain, reduce by 100 cal/day until you find where you maintain.

Many people need to put in a huge time commitment to losing but then don't commit to learning to maintain. Since you lost quickly, and if you aren't prone to gaining easily, you could just quit being diligent and weight yourself every day... when the scale creeps up, have a light day.

But as a runner, I like the precision that tracking with MFP allows me. I want to fuel my runs and race well but I still have lbs I want to lose. When I go to maintain, I'll be increasing as I said above.

honestly with me they kinda both go hand in hand b/c I can just feel even w/o a mirror if I've gained...i like the slim look I got now...but that scale is the real culprit...lol
