Eating Calories Burned

I know this question may have been asked over and over, however I am new here and want some guidance.
I am wondering if I am supposed to be eating the calories I am burning. I am trying to lose weight. I'm supposed to be working out 90 minutes a day according to MFP. For example, I burned 1400 calories yesterday. I really couldn't fathom eating all those extra calories.
Can someone help me with this? Thanks.

Yes, eat your exercise calories! That's why they are added to your totals.
Ensure you are recording proper calorie burns. Get a heart rate monitor to get the most accurate numbers (MFP tends to overestimate the calories burned) or just eat back 2/3s of them.0 -
I agree with now-or-never. I eat mine back, but if I have a high calorie burning day, I don't eat them all back because. Sometimes I'm just not hungry and I won't eat just to eat.
When I first started I wasn't logging my workout and I was netting around 350 in take of calories. I then stopped losing weight. When I found out I was supposed to eat them back, I started to lose weight and have been losing weight each week.
Best of luck!0 -
Thanks ladies. I figured I was supposed to since they are added to my totals. Thanks for the info.0
