Ok was just wondering what your guys opinion of how many calories I should be eating??..MFP says 1200 but my BRM or whatever says 1720 and my TDEE is 2300..So there are my numbers..I moved my calorie intake up to 1500 but I stay under that but over 1200 but I dont seem to be gettin any where..ugh..So frustrating..I know the weight is not going to come off quick but like a pound every couple weeks if that is not cutting it..Makes me want to give up and im NOT going to do that..I weight in at 208 now ..Was down some then that but went on vacation and that didnt help at all and then I kinda fell off track for a few weeks afterwards but im back on it and no vacations to distract me..I WANT to do this and I HAVE to do this..I would just like to see some results like I see some people on here that lose 2 and 3 pounds a week...What am I doing wrong??..Im afraid to go up on calories anymore because I already took myself up when MFP says 1200. so maybe thats the problem I need to go back down??..I felt like I was starving to stay under 1200 and also wasnt really gettin no where at 1200 either thats why I went up?..I need your opinions

How long have you given each of the calorie levels you've tried? Are you basing your success only on scale weight? Do you see any other bodily changes?
Don't compare yourself to others. You'll have to realize you control only the inputs (track everything, hit your activity goals, etc.) and then you just have to wait for the scale to catch up. It's painfully slow, I know. Some weeks nothing happens. You can't quit or take a break from logging if you want to get there.
If you're tracking accurately, you should be able to do a 500-1000 calorie deficit from your TDEE safely. People will tell you you will hurt yourself if you eat below your BMR but it's not true. Do the research yourself. That's why this site recommends a minimum of 1200 regardless and pretty much every site and plan says don't go below 1000 calorie/day deficit. But if you're miserable at 1200, eat more. As long as you're below 2300ish for a long spell, you should lose weight.0
