So which do you worry about most, slimmer or lighter.

For me, slimmer is da winner (rhyming is uplifting!).

I'd rather be a size 4 @ 125 lbs than a size 6 @ 120 lbs.

logically speaking i would rather be slimmer.... but psychologically i keep getting screwed up because even though i'm definitely becoming more toned...my scale hasn't really moved in the last couple weeks and its killing me lol

I want both! I have bad knees and need to drop weight so that there isn't so much stress on them. If it weren't for that, I would go for slimmer and not care about weight.

Track your inches .... this helps me.

To answer the original post - I pick slimmer

That can be so stressful. I agree with tracking your inches and, a lot of times, I just take time away from the scale, even going so far as to hide it in the kids bathroom so I'm not tempted.

Slimmer by a landslide....my scale is just a # to me. As long as I can tell a difference in my clothes...It's winner, winner, chicken dinner!

If I'm really slim/lean and skinny then I don't really care what my weight is.

    I want both too!

For vanity, I want to be smaller & slimmer. But for my health, I want to be lighter too.

Once I'm in a healthy BMI range, I want to be smaller with a lower body fat % which is also for good health.
