Have you all found the values given for calories burned in the database to be fairly accurate?? I am new to this and wondering if I should use my HRM to get my calories burned or is it fairly accurate to go by the database...

Get a heart rate monitor! The database is just estimating and doesn't take in account your intensity. At least with a HRM, it's going off your heart rate and not just your age and weight.
I do a similar cardio workout everyday - some days I get into more than others & my HRM shows that, MFP wouldn't.0 -
Definitely go with what your HRM says. MFP told me I burned 700 calories in an hour of Zumba. And that might be true on some days, however, most days it's more like 550 or so. The HRM is going to be far more accurate than MFP.0

I do have a heart rate monitor so I guess I will have to break it back out! I know I just compared my dog walk with what the database said and what my HRM said and there was a difference...0
