Been here over a month...

...but I'm finally popping in here to introduce myself.

I've been battling weight issues for most of my life, and 11 years ago I underwent RNY gastric bypass surgery; technically I'm considered a "success story," because I'm still about 55 pounds lighter than I was when I had the surgery, but I'm not happy that the past five years of not tracking my food and not working out have allowed some of the 100+ pounds I lost to creep back on. There are reasons I couldn't find time or energy to do what needed to be done, but about four months ago I decided that my health had to come first, so I have been actively getting back into the swing of things. MFP is one part of that.

I am only now beginning to explore some of the MFP community, and am so glad my nutritionist pointed me in this direction!
