question about weight gain

hello fellow mfpers my weight gain is about 17 lbs but same pant size 36 from 42 is this muscle or weightgain and the best way to lose it reaching 200 if possible im at 1800 cal dropping to 1600

That's an awful lot of weight gain to be muscle, but because you're a guy it might be possible. I would say a combination of both, are you watching your sodium? Do you see any places in your body that look "bloated"? That will give you an idea if it's water weight.0

no bloating and salt has been min and pic on bottom right of profile about 3 weeks old0

but drinking water i havebeen a lot since i work outside and in texas its hotter that h e l l out here aaaghhh0
