I have been walking at work and now my work schedule is starting to get busy again and I wont be able to get away for my walks. What does everyone else do for cardio? I am trying to step it up so to speak so any high fat burning cardio advise would be a great help.
Also I do have some DVD's but I have young kids and can't really do that kind of workout until late at night when I am so wiped out I don't do it. I would like something that I can do at work on my lunch break.

If you can't get away at lunch to go for walks, I'm not sure what kind of lunch time cardio you are looking for. Something you can do at your desk? Are there stairs at work that you could use for a good 20min cardio work out at lunch?

If you have a private space at work, check out the free workout videos at www.exercisetv.tv and sparkpeople.com - there are some 10 minute workouts that you could probably fit in.

I honestly brought my laptop, 5 lb. hand weights, workout clothes, and a towel to work, and did the 30-Day Shred video over my lunch break. It's only 25 minutes, including the warm-up and cool-down, so I had plenty of time. If you get a whole hour for lunch, you still have enough time to eat to, and if you only get half an hour, I usually just ate at my desk while I worked. I would just find an empty conference room with no windows, and lock myself in.

Also, I work at a manufacturing plant, and we often walk on the paths around the machines over lunch. We have a "wellness committee" here that encourages this and even gives out prizes for participating, so we don't get weird looks from other employees

    Hope this helps!

I don't know what you can do at work, but take a ZUMB class. I took my first class this week and it was a blast. You really don't have to know all of the steps. You really do catch on pretty fast. This is the best cardio I have done yet! It is for an hour and I am sure you burn a lot of calories. I was really hesitant about going because I didn't know anyone or have anyone to go with me. I was NOT disappointed. I can't wait until the next class. You learn some pretty good dancing tips too!
