Is that even possible to gain that much? I was on vacation and stayed pretty active, either walking around, going for my runs, or swimming in the ocean. I stay at or under 2,000 calories. More than what my goal is, but I think I did pretty well with everything going on. But seriously, 10 pounds? Is that even physically possible?

Edited to clear up that I gained the weight.

I know of people who have lost up to 11lbs in 1 week in slimming world here in Ireland.

Oh no...I should have stated this...the scale says I'm up 10 pounds. I know this isn't possible, but it's still aggravating.

Sure, if you're more active than usual, especially when you consider how many calories swimming in the ocean burns.

When we went to Disney World during high school, I lost eight pounds that week because I wasn't eating as much and we were walking/swimming 8-10 hours every day. It didn't take me long to gain it back, though. :-P

Yes it's possible, but don't count on every week to be like that. In fact, you should probably see a doctor if you keep losing weight that fast.

Ohhh... I see. It depends on what you ate and if you continued to drink lots of water. I ate like crap last week and barely drank any water. Even though I was under my calorie limit, I still gained six pounds. :( It's coming off quickly, though, since it's just water/sodium weight.

Maybe water retention/higher sodium intake? IDK...

My scale shows a 5-6 lb gain whenever I fly. I don't know if it's because of not drinking my usual ton of water or what, but it drops back down the day after I get back.
