Am currently breast feeding my 6 month old and have read I need to be having an extra 1500-1800 extra calories a day - is there a way I factor this into myfitnesspal calaculations?......

300-500 per day. Enter in a food item, search for breastfeeding. It adds negative calories to give you more for the day.0

congrats on the little bundle of moneyblackhole0 -
300-500 extra calories is all that is needed for a breastfeeding or pregnant woman. Maybe that 1500-1800 number would be an estimated total calories needed per day.0
