I need help with the whole calorie thing!!

Ok guys, I just started a few days ago. I'm 16 my height is 5'6 and I weight 125. My BMI is 20.1 and im suppose to eat 1200 everyday.What I started doing for my diet was: eating 1/2 a cup of oatmeal with water for breakfast. Then I would go to the gym and walk a mile and usually that burns 100 calories. (it's summer so I'm pretty inactive) after I come back from the gym I usually eat a cup of grapes or strawberries and two hours later a banana or a mango. Around 9 pm for dinner I usually eat grilled fish (made with olive oil) with a cup of boiled veggies (with a bit of butter) and that would keep me satisfied everyday.

THE THING IS: that sometimes I would have between 300-900 calories left, and the fitness pal app would tell me that I'm eating too few calories everyday and my body would get in STARVATION MODE, therefore making me gain more weight.

Can any of you guys help me please? Yesterday I ate 1430 calories but I felt like I ate too much and I ate the 500 calories in sweet potato, pita chips, special k cereal, and some mango salsa.

Ps: it's really hard to eat most calories in fruits. And I'm not a fan of veggies. I don't want to lose a lot of weight if I don't lose body fat because what I really want is to lose fat

SHOULD I KEEP EATING ALL MY 1200 CALORIES OR HOW I USED TO EAT BEFORE? PLEASE HELP ME AND TRY TO GIVE ME EXAMPLES OF THE THINGS I SHOULD EAT EVERYDAY

    As a 16 year old you should be eating a lot more than 1200 calories a day.

    Spark teens is a website made for teens... You need different nutrition than adults.

    At 5'6" and 125 you are a healthy weight.
