How often should I hop on the scale? I keep hearing different things....also is it best to weigh first thing in the morning?

It doesn't really matter, just try to weigh yourself under the same conditions every time that you plan on recording it. So if you like to weigh in first thing in the morning, then each week do it that way and use the same scale.
I find that my weight fluctuates both daily and hourly. The only number I track is Friday morning after my workout.0 -
I usually weigh in the morning right after I use the restroom and before I eat breakfast, I always have. I try to wait unitl Friday's to weigh but I love hopping onto the scale mid week and see that I've lost something, It's super encouraging but when I do hop on mid week and see that I haven't lost anything or maybe gained I get discouraged so I would encourage you to try your hardest to weigh at the end of each week! I agree with the other poster, I only "officially" track my weight on 1 day each week, Thursday for me..
However, I do weight myself everyday just to learn about my body and how it reacts to what I put in it.0 -
