Grad Party Help!!

Going to a friends Grad party tomorrow, and will be having dinnnerrrr. The family is Jewish and often has food relating to their religion....and normal cook out food as well.

How to not over indulge? Suggestions on what to eat that will fill me up but not make me over do it on calories?

    First of all, go and have fun. Why not have something to eat before you go and nibble on dinner. Explain to the hostess before hand. She will congratulate you on the effort you are making and will understand

    when i go to a party like that i fill my plate 3/4 with green salad and 1/4 meat (hot dog no bun)
    or whatever meat they have. then you can have little dessert if they do not have a fruit salad or something lo cal.
    everything in moderation if all else fails, then get back on the program the next day.
