usually on Thursday, I run 3 or 4 miles then ride my bike for 7-8 miles.
On Friday I do 30 min on Arc machine, heavy lifting, then 30 min on elliptical.
Today, I decided to run 5 miles, It took and hour but I did it (including the hills at least one each mile. Then later in the day I walked 3 1/2 miles. I am very, very sore and achy already.
My question is, should i take tomorrow off, or go ahead and to my normal workout, I am really wondering about the lifting.

Wow, that's awesome! Good job, if you're sore I'd rest a day, why not?0

Is yoga or pilates an option for you? It might do your body some good to stretch and move gentley.0

I would take a rest day, or do something super low-key like stretching and a short (30min) walk!0

Hey!!
Good job!! go GIRL!! YOU ARE ALL OVER IT!
I like the yoga or pilates class idea!!! Easy on the joints and helps you stretch and get good blood circulating. Dont want to over-exercise, then you are be counter active to reaching your goals. Resting is just as critical as workouts and good food intake.
I admire your great workouts and lifestyle! keep it up! Happy journey!0 -
Im not an expert by any means but that's a lot of exercise. Great job btw! I'm pretty sure rest days are necessary to give your body time to heal and so u don't get injured. Rest is prob a good idea especially if u are sore.0
