This may be a stupid question, but i just increased calories and am hoping it is okay. Maybe some of you know. I have been around goal weight for a couple of weeks and at around 1550 calories. MFP says maintenance for me is around 1750. Question is, will I gain weight if I follow MFP maintenance suggestion, since i remained the same at 1550 or is it just really hard to lose the last couple of pounds and MFP maintenance is accurate.

all the equations are estimates, 70% of people fall within 10% of them.
If your maintenance is actually 1750 then eating 1550 is a 200 deficit and it'll take 17.5 days to lose a pound. Given your weight is +/- 2lb or more daily variation you'll do well to notice that.
So I would give it a month and add or subtract 100 or 200 calories as appropriate.0
