Getting closer and closer everyday

Pretty Happy with myself today. On April 1st, I started my journey of trying to live a healthier life style. I have significantly reduced my alcohol intake (which I am sure my mom is happy about, but the the buddies aren't), eating better (lots of fish, chicken and veggies..someday's I feel like a chicken of the sea) and exercise about 5 times a week in the gym and just being more active around the house (didn't necessarily need to almost cut my thumb off in the process, but it's healing).

It all seems to be paying off now. After 2 1/2 month's of this, I have lost 41 pounds!! The trick now is keeping up with this and getting to my target weight. Also continuing to live a healthier life style for a long time.

MFP has been a great tool for me in my effort to live healthier as well as encouragement from other MFPer's.

    Great story!! You are doing so awesome. AND you will hit your goal weight if you keep doing what you are doing. It also helps to have nagging MFP friends to help push you along! Happy Friday and glad you are feeling good today!! Have a great weekend
