Force Feeding the Former Fatty

Does anyone else have problems with your coworkers, friends, and family constantly trying to tell you (in that condescending tone) that "you can HAVE one piece of cake"? I swear, I'm about ready to flip my lid at the next person that pulls this!!!
I guess I just feel like when I was fatter, they agreed that I should lose weight and now that I've lost 76 pounds, they're deciding that I'm done (or jealous, there's always that, too!). I still have 30ish pounds to go! STOP TELLING ME HOW TO EAT!!!!
How do you handle these people? And more importantly, what do you do to get them off your back?!

"Yes, I can have one piece of cake -- but I don't want to."0

After I say I don't want to and they still insist I take it, and let it sit there and let it go to waste while they're still wanting more and there's none left.0

I would tell people I already have my cheat meal planned for the week and that I would prefer that over the cake. This usually gets their panties out of a wad.0

Are you looking to make a stand, or keep the peace and just get through it? Personally, I'd just have small piece of cake LOL. But, you could always take a small piece, eat a bite or two, and throw the rest away.0

I show them an unflattering "before" picture and say something like, "I'm working really hard to stay healthy so that I don't go back to this. If I want some cake, though, I'll be sure to help myself." (I don't know if this would work with people who have known you throughout the weight loss, though, but you could try it.)0

I just keep finding that people are so dang pushy!!! And some have gone so far as to be insulted if I don't want to try their foods! I just noticed it's gotten much worse as I've lost weight. And, let's face it, I have a really hard time eating two bites of a piece of cake and throwing the rest out. But, perhaps I'll just have to play the game and pretend to eat it or just tell people I did!
Thanks!0
