NEW - 10 years post op RNY and gaining, looking for friends

Hi there, trying to figure all of this out so figured I'd post here and see where it goes. I literally just started MFP 2 weeks ago and have been kind of stalking the site. I have now found it so interesting that I am popping on here all of the time instead of Facebook which is a great thing for me.
I have found myself completely going back to my old eating habits....basically love candy and carbs. I may not be able to eat a lot at a time but I can eat a little crap MANY times a day in order to have that temporary pleasure.
I'm not following a specific diet but kind of making up my own. Sugar free as much as possible, eliminating white starches, and sticking to 1200 calories a day. I've lost 6 pounds so far doing The Shred and seem extra motivated due to this tool. I AM NOT AN EXERCISER at all so this is a huge challenge to me.
Again, I'm new to this but would like to find other people "like me" if possible. I have roughly 20 lbs to lose but I am 45 and it's not coming off easy. I don't want to give up! Thanks for reading!

Love your handle "IBTUFF"...that is what it takes to change those ever pesky cravings of sugar and junk fodds (of which I admit to being an addict)...I have been here since January 2012...and enjoy being a cheerleader to my Pals. I "use" MFP to avoid foods I shouldn't be thinking about and MFP is the place. I smiled when you said you are coming here more than FB. I have done the same, too! This place saved me from late night snacking on a current challenge I am doing...NOT to late night snack...and as a result...I am back on track to my weight goal which is now only five pounds away...but it is the MOST DIFFICULT!! I am JAZZED. All this to say...keep up the great work. I am always open to Pals who want to be supported. Feel free to add me!!0
