I'm kinda down and out, and just realizing how much my spirits are down. As I just told a friend....

This weekend, I broke my ankle, broke off my relationship, Broke off all engagements for kayaking, rafting, volleyball, Broke my son's heart not being able to be able to play baseball, football, wrestle.... Icing on the cake - I'm 35, unable to drive for two months and living with my parents because I can't make it up and down in my third floor historic apartment *LOL* Physically, I'm fine... although bummed that I may put on weight and can't use this summer to my advantage. Emotionally, I'd like to curl up in the fetal position and have a good cry. I know it's temporary. I know people have it MUCH worse in this world. I know I'm whining...

Regardless, I could use a little inspiration, a pick me up, a kick in the *kitten*... Or, just show me your boobs.

    That really sucks man, that is a lot at once. Sorry you're having to go through all that.

    Maybe use this time off your feet to strength the old brain muscle? Read some more, study up on something, etc?

    I figure... no reason not to try to increase some strength in the arms and the abs, right? And no better time to diet...

    Get some resistance bands and hand weights- there are plenty of exercises you can do sitting down in the meantime.
