It isn't so bad. You don't look it or act it. Frankly, I thoroughly enjoy telling people how old I am, because they never believe me, and it makes me feel really good.

    I think you're more like 30ish than 40ish.

Turning 40 is so 6 years ago(almost 7). I still think i'm 25 in my head. Until i try to run. Then reality hits. Hard!

I'm guessing that it won't affect you a bit...

I turned 40 in October and have used it as a major opportunity to change my life for the better, I have lost 40lb, ended my unhappy marriage, began post graduate study and am finally in a happier and healthier phase of my life.

I relished turning 30, and so far 40 isn't too bad an age to be :)

I turned 40 in January! It's not a big deal, it really isn't. and would the alternative be better...death? Of course not, so you might as well relish getting to enjoy another year.

I'm inviting myself to this throw-down...you've been warned.

Ok, you don't look 40, playing outside in a tutu is not mentally 40, looks like some roller derby going on as well. If you carry on like this you'll be hitting 25 all over again.

Enjoy it it doesn't make adifference. I'm 43 but feel that my life is just starting to come out and really enjoy itself.

    Keep on rocking.

Fantastic attitude. Took me a little longer to realize that only I can change me for better or worse. I'm choosing better.

I think 40 is the new 20. 40 isn't the same as it was when we were kids. 50 isn't even like the old timey 50. It makes sense in my head, so just go with it.

I don't give a **** either, I am pushing the door on 40 right now, but I plan on being immature and childish well into my 60's and beyond.

Meh. I was pregnant when I turned 40. Forty isn't what it used to be...it's up to us to define what it means to us. For me, my current age is a new beginning...my life is starting over. Bring it on.

When you can totally rock a tutu in public while racing a 10k at the sametime, that's just playing with everyone else.

I've done more in the three years since I hit forty that I did in all of my thirties. And I'm living a lot better life that I did in my twenties.

    What's the problem with 40???!!?!?

I'll tell you this...my sex life got better when I turned 40!! The wife and I decided that we didn't care anymore about what other people thought and did whatever we wanted......cruises, hooking up with other couples, a wild, wild night at Hedonism in Las Vegas, 3 somes.... its all good!!!!!
