    I've had two polars. One with a hard strap and one with a soft strap. I don't remember the number but the one with the soft strap was just as accurate but not only felt better it also stayed on better!

    I'm loving my PolarFT4. Super easy to use, seems really reliable. FAR MORE reliable than the calories burned counter on MFP or calories burned counters on gym machines. :wink:

    I think they are worth the price, absolutely. I was surprised by how calories were either over estimated here, or under estimate on gym quality machines.

    I have the polar FT4 as well...and I have no complaints!

    I suggest getting it on Amazon or something because it was about 40 dollars more at the store!
