I've never been a runner, even when I was active in high school. I've been jogging/walking in intervals. Is this the best way to start? Also, how do you log jogging/walking on exercise tracker? I've been using "moderately brisk walking". But I really work up a sweat and get out of breath. I just don't want to over-estimate.

Have you ever looked into "Couch to 5K"? There's a phone app for it too! Lot's of folks have found it successful, including close friends. I ran my first triathlon working with the "Chi Running" videos on YouTube~I still had weight to lose, so I used this to avoid injury. Blessings!0
