How do you recover from starvation mode?

I've been worried that I've been consuming too little calories, but I don't know if that's accurate because I never measure what I eat.. especially if their homemade meals.

Up your calories. Seriously. I used to eat so little because I was never hungry, but I learned from these boards about upping calories. I started upping them beginning of May, gained 11 pounds, BUT I have now started dropping the pounds. What a wonderful feeling that it was all worth it!0

You have to start logging everything at the end of the day. MFP also has a recipe function so that you can log homemade foods. Do that without changing your habits for a week, then evaluate.
*Edit - As far as measuring your food goes, I would get whatever you normally eat on your plate, then measure to see what your portion sizes actually are.0 -
