sometimes I just eat a spoon of nutella to get over 1200 cal after MFP's threatening "you eat to few..."
ughhhh, nutella!!!! I could never stop myself.
Completely agree with you, I am doing the same0 -
Congratulations on your loss! You look amazing and it must be such a great feeling to be at goal!
How did you feel eating 1200 cals? Did you find it got easier after a while?0 -

Firstly may I say you look amazing.. Well done & secondly may I say I totally agree!!.. I've only been on here 4weeks but already I've noticed to lose weight I must stick to a calorie intake of 1200 with no more than 2 days going to about 1300
cals In order to lose & also not eating back exercise calories.. Last week I lost 4lbs by sticking to that. This week I stuck to it religiously but did go upto anything from 14-1550 cals (still under limit with exercise calories) & lost naff all!!!.. So this week I'll be going back to 1200-1280 as that seems to work for me even having 1 day where I might over indulge!!0 -

Thanks!!! It is a relief to finally get to my goal, I need to remain here now and find my maintenance (this should be fun LOL).
I was always fine eating the 1200 calories per day, however, I had to make sure every single thing I ate was good food and not empty calories. I always ensured I had protein for breakfast as that kept me going until lunch.
Protein is a lifesaver in weightloss, it stops you craving junk food lol.0 -

Hi! Thank you very much :flowerforyou:
The trick is to get into the rhythm of the 1200 calories per day at the beginning and once you do that it becomes a habit.
Ensure you eat good food and try to cut out crap whilst you lose your weight - not because junk food or sweets, cakes and biscuits are bad for you, but because they use up quite a lot of your daily calorie allowance that could be better spent on protein-rich food or food that will keep you full for a few hours.
It is ALL worth it once you see the pounds start to drop xxx0 -
Thanks for your reply & congrats again! :-)0
