help with newbie to exercise

ok i seriously need some help, ive been looking over these threads for the last hour and ive gotta say that im totally confused by all the info. Im 28 and currently am about two stone overweight. Ive recently joined back at the gym, and i find that exercising first thing in the morning suits me. I try and do about 15 mins of cardio, then use the resistance machines for the remaining time. I also try amd do spin once a week, and also swim once a week. Can anyone else suggest a really good workout, or point me I the right direction? I want something that will produce quick results, and im defo not afraid of hard work
