Reactive Hypoglycemic......need help!!

I have hypoglycemia and crave sugar constantly. Its a constant battle not to eat everything sweet in sight! I gain weight extremely fast if I consume sugar. Simple carbs also have a very negative effect on my mood and my ability to think clearly. So I need to stay away from sugar and eat every 2 to 3 hours or so. Is anyone out there struggling with this same thing? Any success???

i just had to stop "bad" carbs completely to keep from literally passing out. i eat every 3 hours (protein-based) starting at 6:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. peanut butter is great right before bed (not a sandwich - no bread) the cravings went away. seriously! i thought i could never live without donuts. (or bread, or crackers, etc.) but seriously i don't even want it anymore. i used to salivate when i would see it. LOL it took a few weeks. your body will learn to cope without it.0

I used to suffer from this as well but I went back to eating a lower carb diet and I havent had an issue since. I hope you can get it under control.0
