Seriously! I was doing really well....losing at a decent rate down to my lowest in a long time and now back up 5 lbs! It was the end of the school year didnt take the time to log food and now I feel back at square one. I need a jump start or someone who will help me kick my own *kitten*!! I recently started insanity but am eating so out of control that it isnt even helping! Advise?!?!? I have good intentions always and then just screw it up and eat whatever........ grrr. HELP! ~Thanks ;)

I'd say write out your goals for losing weight and what losing weight will get you. Read it every day.
I have a card on my fridge that says, "I want the weight loss more than I want the food" that helps!!

I know exactly what you mean, For the past 3 weeks I havent lost a thing. I stepped on the scale and went up 2 lbs. How depressing right? What I did was asked my pals for advice (just like you are doing now) and just by me posting motivated me to go work out. I literally got back on the wagon 4 days ago. I have worked out everyday since then. Im sure its normal to jump off but realize this is a goal for yourself and you have to embrace your passion WITH passion.

So tomorrow lets clean up your diary, work out a little bit... and take it one day at a time. Good luck and I know you can do it!

I just had that for the last couple of weeks. I asked for help on my friends' list, annoyed even myself, soaked up their good advice and support, and avoided (and still am avoiding) the scale because I will get discouraged if I see the actual damage. Instead, just getting back in the game.

Some words of wisdom I received from my MFP friends:

"Think about what you did right today. You did not do EVERYTHING wrong." (I was feeling like I was doing everything wrong, and she was right, I wasn't.)

*Feel good about the efforts you are making to improve.

*Lay low, accept that it's a stage/phase you have to get through and not something you are doing WRONG.

    *Everyone is rooting for you!

And everyone was amazingly supportive and kind. Gave me the cushion I needed when my mood was so bad and some confidence when I had none.
