Hey! First week back on the grind!

I would love to have some friends on here to talk to about success and struggles! My profile looks so sad with "no friends" listed. ha! Anyway, I am on a mission to do this thing for good. Ultimately, I'd like to lose about 100 pounds. I have always been up and down in the weight department. I can lose, but I can gain even better (and so much faster!). I am an ice cream addict who has trouble passing up that cold, sweet, delightful treat! lol!
Anyway, I really focused on my eating habits this week. I did fairly well; although one day, I got news from work that didn't necessarily impress me and I went and had tacos, chips and dip... and ice cream. But the next day, I accepted my mistake and got back on the healthy train... usually, I would say, "well, I blew it this week, so I'll just start next week...". So although it wasn't the best case scenario, I'm pretty happy with the way that I handled it. Next week, I am planning to add exercise. I love Zumba and Kickboxing. I have a YMCA membership and own Turbo Fire and Insanity plans on DVD. So, we shall see how this goes.
I am a teacher and a photographer. Both jobs require alot of physical movement and I can tell with the extra weight I've put back on that I am tired WAYYY faster than before. I need energy to be able to do my job- considering it is how I pay the bills. I also have a wonderful 7 year old who loves to practice soccer and go on bike rides... and I want to be able to do those things with him again without feeling like I might die.
I am truly embarrassed that I let myself go again... but I did. So now I must fix it. I think this website and app are awesome. It is so easy to use and holds me accountable every day, every meal.
Anyone who is interested in adding another friend to their list- Feel free! It would be amazing to find people with similar goals and interests!
