Hello:
I heard of this fine forum by watching Physiques of Greatness on youtube...so Far I'm pretty impressed with the site. I started like everybody else...I knew I was too fat, but wasn't sure how to start...I tried to start walking, but I quickly got discouraged when I couldn't even walk about 1/2 mile with the dog.
Some family members got sick of me complaining and bought me a 24 hr fitness membership, which i was determined to not let go to waste.
I am 5' 11", and in October of last year I was 250 or 255, or threabouts...I was actually too ashamed to get on the scale to weigh myself.
By March I settled into a routine that includes weights and cardio. So far I've been stuck at a plateau of 231.5 for the past 3 weeks...tommorrow is my weekly weigh in...I hope I shed some more fat!!!
My goal is 200lbs by the end of the year.

    I pray you reach your goal and I'm confident you will if you just stick with it...ESPECIALLY when you seem stuck. I've gone weeks and weeks without seeing anything and then one day boom! It's like I'll loose a lb. for every week that I never saw anything. Pay attention to your clothes and inches lost; that helps when the scales aren't doing any thing.
