Hi everyone,
I'm looking into getting a Polar FT4 but because I live in Canada I can't find a site where I can select a size for the strap. It will probably come with the standard medium strap (according to bodytronics, M-XXL is 27"-54" and according to heartratemonitorsusa, M/XL is 30"-45"). I'm wondering if this measurement is based on your actual bra size or based on the width of the area below the chest (where the strap is going to go).
My bra size is 32AA and the area below my chest by the ribcage is 27" so I want to know if M will be too loose.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi! I have the POlar ft7 and my husband does too! I was just like you, wondering the sizes, how will they fit, don't want to get the wrong one, don't want to exchange it, what should i do, etc.
Here is the good news, my husband has the M-xl and I have the sm-m and guess what? They both work for me, so you will be fine either way!0 -
Oh and the M-xl will have more slack to it, meaning you will hae to make it way tighter, i guess if you had to pick one, go with the sm-m. However, if it's cheaper to get the ML i see no reason why that wouldn't work!
p.s. I LOVE MINE!

Thanks for the reply!
What colors do you and your husband have? Is there a watch band size difference between the FT7M and FT7F?0 -
The strap goes exactly where your bra band sits (it will be under your bra band) so I think you'll be fine.0

Anyone else?
Would a M size strap be too loose for someone with a 32AA chest and a 27" width below the chest?
Thanks!!0 -
M will be fine - lots of adjustability to it
and get a spare! they tend to get funky quickly from sweat and you may need to let it dry day to day, so a spare is good0 -
I just got the FT4 and the M-XXL strap fits me just fine, I'm a little smaller than your measurements. I have it as tight as it will go and it hasn't given me any problems sliding. You can find sports bras that "hold" the chest strap.0

I was just googling this question because I wear a 32 as well and I have the M-XL (the standard size that comes with the watch) and it is too big. When you sweat it moves quite a bit so I would go smaller!0
