SMOOTHIES!

I'm a smoothie fiend. I've never been a huge fan of the texture of fruits, but I LOVE their taste when I blend them into smoothies. My favorites so far are a banana, strawberry smoothie with green tea to help mix; a bluberry, peach and banana smoothie with 2% milk; and a banana, peanut butter smoothie (1 TBS only!). I also buy all my fruits from the local farmers market, so they're super fresh and organic.

Anyone else make smoothies? If so, provide a recipe!

Aww, really, nobody? But they're so delicious and good for you! And easy to make once you get going.

4 large bananas and about 10 small dates, pitted, or about 6 large dates, pitted. A little bit of water to help blend. Maybe a little cinnamon or some vanilla extract if i feel like adding a twist.

    Or strawberry/blueberry/banana

    My two favorites.

    Or papaya,pineapple, mango.

I love smoothies! My favorite is banana, peanut butter, ice and a bit of chocolate syrup and plain nonfat yogurt. I also love mango, strawberry, kiwi smoothies.

I like my smoothies to have a "milkshake" like consistency and this is probably the best resource for them:

Lots of unique flavours without all the fruit.
