Macros - What are you talking about?

A simple one-answer topic, but humor me - what the heck is a macro? I've been seeing it all over the place recently and I'm curious as to what the heck it is.

    Carbohydrates, Fats, Protein.

    The three major macro-nutrients.
  • When you look at your food diary for the day you should see fat, carbs and proteins included with your calorie count. That is three macros that are standard with every profile. MFP give you the chance to add two more (I also track sodium and fiber) so that you can see what you need to add and/or cut in your diet.
