This isn't fun and there surely are no games involved, but I didn't know where else to ask this.

Do any women here experience Post-menstrual syndrome? My "tom" ended about 7 days ago, and I've been a wreck since then (including experiencing non-stop anxiety, aggression, anger, extreme sadness, etc.)

This has never happened to me before, not like this. I was doing some reading and came across Post-menstural syndomre, and apparently it's very real and occurs during child bearing years (I'm 27) and can last for 2 weeks after menstruation is over.

I've personally never heard of it but thinking about how menstruation works, it could be. Maybe wait it out until your next period, unless you think it is serious enough to warrant an emergency visit to a clinician, especially if you are experiencing thoughts of harming yourself or others. But if you can wait, maybe see what happens next period and if it continues, discuss it with your regular clinician or a OBGYN.

never under-estimate the utter destruction hormones can have on any person who's sensitive to hormone fluxes.

A doctor may prescribe an antidepressant - one that will mildly take the edge off and is suitable for pms/post-ms issues.

    take it and run!!! :)
