I am bloated and gassy due to too much garlic... help?

I'm at the point where it is physically painful. I've been like this since I went to bed last night. It hurts, and as I'm going to go see my guy tomorrow (he's on leave), I'd rather not be farting and sharting. Help?

Does garlic always do this to you? I eat loads of the stuff and have never had that.
Try some peppermint tea. Also, try getting down on your hands and knees and sticking your *kitten* in the air, trust me it really can help!0 -
I ate probably 30-40 cloves of roasted garlic. It doesn't usually do this to me, but in such large quantities... blech. I've been drinking tea all day, but all it does is make the sharting worse.0

Do you have any raw or candied ginger? It works wonders for me with any stomach upset -- anything Pepto Bismol claims to help, I take ginger for instead.0
