I am a IT director and usually do not motivate away from my desk very much. I recently took over the material control group and am finding that I am making many trips per day to the other end of the plant. I decided to wear a peodometer that 4 days and found that from the time I start to the time I go home I am covering anywhere form 4 to 6 miles per day. It also computes the calories per day.

Should I put this info on the exercise section or am i cheating. I am going on a 1.2 mile walk with my wife every day so i put that in, but what about the miles at work?

Any suggestions???

Hi There if you look at your goal you will want to put down your active. I don't think that you count walking at work exercise.

I have an Omron-and love it! I wear it daily, and it'll show how many mile I walked also. I don't put it in, but know if I have a day I don't exercise, and overeat, at least I know in my mind that I did do something, and not to be as hard on myself. Plus the challenge is to walk 10,000 steps (5 miles) a day, right?:drinker:
